LET’S BUILD AN ECOVILLAGE THAT SUPPORTS REGENERATIVE COMMUNITY
I seek gifted ESL teachers, musicians, performers, artists, and visionaries who are interested in starting a creative community..
We will use innovative building techniques to build yurts, tiny homes, and other designs. Also we will experiment with alternative energy sources such as solar panels, windmills, etc.
Of course, this eco-village community will also grow our own organic food (gardens, orchards, berry patches, food forest) and have animals that are cared for by the community. Our intention will be to become self-sustaining with our own enterprises. We will also have guesthouses, a retreat center, conference center, and traveling members, as well as cooperative trades and exchanges with other intentional communities.
There will be Gaia-centered ceremonies, drumming and dance circles, and shamanic healing sessions, as well as many other kinds of energy and body work available to the community and guests. Our community will consciously use regenerative strategies for our own health and the health of the community.
We will form our own governance structure to make administrative decisions that empower members. We will be open to experimenting to find out what works best for us. We might emulate what has been done in Cheran in Mexico with the fogata system of having several councils for different purposes, with members rotating service. The Fogata System is a neighborhood-level democratic governance structure that literally translates to “campfires” or “community fires.” And we can visit other intentional communities to see how they govern themselves for ideas to try out.
This will be an EMF-free community as much as possible for people who are sensitive to electro-magnetic frequencies. The basic concept is to create a way of living in harmony with the land so that we can support each other in creating a shift to a new paradigm of interdependency and regenerative living.
Visionaries are most welcome to Terra Haven. We will be training and supporting young people in the world to create a new game that works better than the old ones.
I am interested in attracting members to this community who do not speak English as their first language. Fluency in other languages will be highly desirable, as well as skills, abilities and proclivities that will help make it vibrant and dynamic.
